Success necessitates persistent effort and unwavering determination. The path to achieving one’s objectives often involves grappling with difficulties and surmounting challenges. In various sectors, innovative entrepreneurs are making their presence felt, and one such luminary is Manish Kumar, a young farmer hailing from Bihar. But who exactly is Manish Kumar?

Manish Kumar, a native of Namidih village in Hajipur, serves as a source of inspiration due to his remarkable accomplishments in establishing a hatchery facility. Over an eight-year span in the poultry industry, Manish has nurtured and managed a flock of 20,000 hens dedicated to egg production. According to Manish Kumar, a well-managed hatchery holds significant profit potential, although a lack of knowledge can lead to financial setbacks.

Manish stressed that the primary objective of the 20,000 hens was egg production, with the eggs being distributed to numerous districts in Bihar daily. The business operates for approximately 20 months from the time the hens are introduced. The initial four months are dedicated to raising and nurturing the chicks under the care of mother hens.

Egg production begins in the fourth month of the hens’ lives, and the hens are eventually sold once they cease laying eggs. Manish emphasized the importance of meticulous care for the hens, as neglecting cleanliness can increase the risk of disease. Maintaining the chickens’ health is imperative in this context. According to Manish Kumar, a single chicken lays eggs for roughly two years, with egg prices fluctuating in response to market conditions. The hatchery employs 20,000 hens, yielding a daily output of 18 to 19 thousand eggs, which are subsequently sold at prevailing market rates. Typically, an egg is priced between Rs 4 and Rs 5, as per his account.

In light of these details, News18 reported that the annual profit, after accounting for expenses, can reach up to Rs 75 lakh. Following training in Hajipur, Manish made the crucial decision to embark on the venture of establishing a hatchery facility. This choice has proven successful, as the cycle of earnings continues to expand steadily.
